duh I just need help!

I am so glad this forum is here! My wedding planner dropped out for a vacation and planning a wedding by myself in 6 months is driving me crazy! We are having our wedding and reception at a beautiful art-deco styled historic ballroom. I don't want to stray too much from the vintage beauty of it. With that in mind our original orange autumn themed wedding sort of went out of the window when we found out the hall only has eggplant colored tableclothes. We didn't want to bother renting any more so our color scheme changed to eggplant, apple green, and rust (still semi-fall).

Here's my issue...I picked out the flowers before my BM dresses and now I'm all confused! I wanted simple unfussy flowers and my bo-k is green roses with purple callas and the BM have green roses with green cymbidum orchids. Well now I decided I want more of the rust and I have 3 colors I'm trying to push in between the dresses and flowers. My florist recommended just adding teracotta roses to my bo-k, but I'm unsure of the color scheme. Can someone help me pull these colors together before I lose my mind?!?

BTW the men are wearing cream-which I thought went great with rust and that's where this all started....

Your color scheme sounds lovely, and I do think the terra cotta roses would make for a great look. Can you ask your floral designer to show you a sample of the bouquet with those colors together? Most florists will do so for free, or for a small charge, and that's the best way to see how these tones will work together. Or, if he or she has photos of some fall arrangements and bouquets, you could take a look that way.

Your autumn color palette sounds wonderful, and perhaps the men can wear mini terra cotta roses as their boutonnieres.

Other ideas, anyone?

I think your colors sound very, very elegant and still definitely a fall feel to them. I agree with Sharon about checking with your florist to see about adding some minor touches of color as accents. Maybe adding a little of the eggplant and/or rust to the green bouquets, and tying them with a ribbon with those colors in it, but I probably would pick my bridesmaids' dress color first, then use accent colors around your color scheme.
The mini terra cotta roses for boutonnieres seems like a great way to accent the cream-colored tuxes.
