Default I'm SOOOO excited!!!

Like i've mentioned before, my caterer and DJ is a good friend of my and DH's. He's doing some awesome things for us since he knows that i'm on a tight budget. So anyhow in passing he mentioned that his wife's friend does awesome photography for cheap. I said cool I'll give her a look. I had booked (but not signed contract) with another photographer for $800 and that was including rights (which is an amazing price.) I'm looking at the website for this other gal, LOVE what I see and decide to call her. She said she does weddings all day for $300 DOLLARS!!!! You've got to see this work!!!

(insert normal not trying to endorse work comment)
I just really want you to see these to see what you think...I think she's well worth $300 (and I still get my rights!)

right around page 3 and 4 is some wedding photos. We are meeting 1st week of March so we can view full albums...but I think she does great work.

What do you all think?

She lives in Ohio *HINT HINT WINK WINK* She is from the Wren area, which is not too far out of Van Wert. Do either of those sound familiar to you??? She is doing a friend's wedding as well...and doesn't charge much (if anything) to travel. At least that's what she told me.

I love the photos!!!....make sure you get the price list for the photos!! The one thing I noticed when we were shopping for photographers was that when the flat fee was low....they usually charged an arm and two legs for the prints....but when the flat fee was higher it only cost an arm to buy the prints. You may find that paying $800 and getting the rights to all the prints is a much better deal than paying $300 and an additional $1500 for prints!!!

What makes this deal SOOO awesome is I get my rights!! I put it in ( )'s in my first post. She takes the photo's puts them on a disc for you to take wherever and says have fun. You get the sole rights to your pictures.

Sounds awesome! I'd go for it!

If you sent a deposit to the other photographer I would be prepared to not get it all back though!
