A Word Of Caution About The Classic-Themed Invitation Suite #2 Templates
A Word Of Caution About The
Classic-Themed Invitation Suite #2 Templates
The Classic-Themed Invitation Suite #2 template set is very ink intensive. To print these out properly, you will have to use a lot of ink. Thus, we recommend that these be used by people who have smaller weddings.
If you would prefer templates that don't utilize a lot of ink, we welcome you to look at our other templates.

Directions
Directions
Personalize these wedding invitation templates by deleting the sample text and typing your own wedding information into the text boxes.
Font: The typeface used in these templates is Optimus Princeps and Optimus Princeps Semi Bold, both available for PC and Mac platforms. Please replace the initials with yours on each sheet. The font style on each template is small caps.
These templates are built to fit multiple cards onto a letter size page (8 1/2 × 11 inches). Once trimmed each card is a standard card size and will fit into standard sized envelopes. In order to ensure that the cards will fit into the corresponding envelopes, trim off the excess paper around the crop marks. Also notice, the color boxes overlap the cut-lines. This is to ensure that the color will go to the edge after trimming it.
Card sizes and special instructions for each template are listed below.

Classic-Themed Invitation Suite #2
I just downloaded the template for the Classic-Themed Invitation Suite #2
invitation, and it is acting strange. At least to me. On all the other templates it shows you at least two invitations per page. But on this one, the front of the invitation and the inside just show one. It has a long streak of color and then one invitation on one side. Can someone help me understand how to fix this? I looooove this invitation and would love to use it, but I need help! Thank you!

On the invitation template there should be two pages. The first page is the outside of the invite (front and back of the invitation when you fold it in half). The second page is the inside of the the invitation (the inside cover and the invite itself when you fold in half). Please bear in mind that this template utilizes a lot of ink.
I hope this helps.

Hi Chulita,
I'm certainly not the creator of this, but I downloaded it to take a look at it, and took a screen shot of a 50% view of this invite opened in Word. Make sure you've taken a look at the directions that come with it; it does say it is only one invitation, not two, in the template. Also make sure you've either downloaded the font specified or adjusted for a font you've already got (I haven't done either of these things, so ignore any typeface differences).
Here's the screenshot:

Is this what yours looks like? If so, you have no problem, that's what it should be. When you print this so the first page is on one side of your paper and the second side is on the back (unless you have two-sided printing, you need to do this in two steps), it will fold horizontally. Trimmed it will be a square invite.

Just in case this helps, I did a super-quick mini mock-up. I just printed my screen shot, cut it out and taped it together to simulate what it would look like if properly printed on one page (not two like I've done). Ignore the streaks--I meant to print in black & white because my color ink is low. Sorry the photos are so big, but it's late and I'm not messing with photobucket to get them smaller right now.
Again, keep in mind this is like a two-inch square mock-up, not carefully trimmed. Just to give you a sense of it.
front, when folded:
outside of invite, from the side:
inside of invite:

Older Version of Microsoft Word
Good Evening,
Is there any chance you have the templates available in the older version of Word? My computer is downloading the templates at the 2007 edition in a Trial edition which I cannot edit. Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks!

It's downloading and opening in Word 2003 for me. Try opening Word first, and then opening the document using File --> Open to force it.
