Question Question?

I am wondering how far in advance you have a bridal shower, steg & bachelorette/bachelor party?

Thank You!

Welcome to Pash!

You can schedule the advance parties somewhat depending on what you want to do. In general, the shower is 2-8 weeks before the wedding. Bachelor/ette parties can be anywhere from the night before (not recommended ) to a couples weeks before, or even a month. And some folks go earlier on both, especially if they are having parties in different locations, etc.

My shower was a month before. Didn't have a bachelorette party. DH's bachelor party I think was a week or two before the wedding.

Agreed with what was said above...but really you can have it whenever you want and whatever fits into your schedule! and of course your bridal party!

My bridal shower is about 5 weeks before the wedding. FH's bachelor party is about 2-3 weeks before the wedding and my bachelorette party will probably be a week beforehand? It all depends on work schedules and when we can get a sitter!!!

I think it does sound like a fun idea. We are doing a mixed one as well since we both have the same friends. Everyone thinks were nuts around here but Jason and I are just so close we do everything together so it just fits us.

Coed celebrations are the in thing now...both the bachelor/bachelorette party and showers involve both the bride and groom quite frequently...I welcome the change.
