FH wedding ring...who pays??
So Im not sure if this is where I post this or not but direct me somewhere else if need be. Thanks. This is probably a stupid question but FH got me thinking last night about his wedding ring which we are going to go look for this weekend...who pays for it? Is it my responsibility? He says it is because he bought my engagemnet ring. He was just joking around but then I thought its only fair for me to pay. So who does pay?

We split the cost of our wedding bands, (he bought my engagement ring) but typically you would purchase his wedding band.

Traditionally, the bride (or, in "olden days", the bride's family) buys the groom's ring and the groom (or groom's family) buy the bride's ring.
Nowadays, it seems like a lot of B&Gs share the cost of their rings, most likely b/c they go shopping for them together and often buy them as a set.
FH & I are buying each other's ring... though we are shopping for them together and will buy them at the same place.

Yeh Jason too bought mine as a set and I do think it is only fair that I pay for his. I had just never really thought out about who would pay for his really.

He bought my e-ring, and will buy my wedding bands (two of them). So I bought his e-ring, and I'll buy his wedding band.

I bought Cliff's wedding band. He always joked that I got the better end of THAT bargain!

DH bought both my e-ring and wedding band, and I bought his wedding band myself...
