Carribean/Island honeymoon ideas
Brandon and I are wanting to go to some island...somewhere maybe in the Bahamas area or eastern Mexico islands...
I've researched a lot...and some of them definitely stick out! But then...I don't know how to choose between them becuase they do look so similar!
So for the people that have went to the Carribean or an island honeymoon or vacation...where did you go...and what did you like and what didn't you like!!!
THANKS!!

We went to Paradise Island in the Bahamas and stayed at The Atlantis Resort and Casino. It was amazing... It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. http://www.atlantis.com/
We did not do the all-inclusive b/c I'm a picky eater and we really wanted to spend time in Nassau and eat where the locals eat a lot.
The best thing we did down there was the Powerboat Adventure.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like, except for the price of some basic things. A small cup of coffee was like $6.00. But, my lovely husband who gets up early found a small shop off the hotel property where prices were normal.
I highly recommend it...

I went on a Carribean cruise for my honeymoon. My favorite port was St Martin. We took an excursion to Orient Bay Resort... talk about gorgeous! I'm not sure what they offer as a resort, but I do remember seeing it on one of the Travel Channel's top 10 picks!
Sorry I'm not more help!

I've also been on a Carribean cruise. I liked St. Martin, as well as the Bahamas. I don't really recall anything that stands out that I didn't like - other than that tofu burger I tried, lol.
I do reccomend a cruise though - it's not expensive (DH and I are going in October for about $700 pp) and it includes all the food and entertainment you need. There are extras, of course, but it's really the best bang for your buck.
It is hard to chose b/t the islands - they're all beautiful!

We did a Carribean cruise for our honeymoon as well... we stopped in San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola. The only thing I didn't like was we only spent half a day in each port, but we liked St. Thomas best, so me may fly down there for a full vacation.

I'm scarred of the idea of taking a cruise...but it is a lot cheaper...I've been looking at prices for just going to an island...WOW...I'm just nervous of getting sea sick...and I dont like the idea of only getting to see certain islands for a little bit of time...
Any ideas on getting good deals while staying at an island??
