I love your's Dep!
We've been planning on having fresh flowers to match my bouquet but if you've seen my cake thread you'll know I can't completely decide until I've picked out the final design for the cake...

If you choose a cake that the flowers don't look good on and want a monogram to go on top, i can give you a really good site. It is only $16.

LOL the skeleton cake topper is so cute. I'd never use it on my cake, but it give a whole new look at "til death do we part"

I don't think we're going to have a cake. I just don't have the desire to have one. I'm thinking "dessert station", which will include cup cakes probably.

My favorite cake toppers (lately) are the monograms or other things significant to the bride and groom.

Goths deserve love, too! Oh, man, a couple weeks ago they had some show on TV: World's Wildest Weddings, or something like that. They featured a Goth wedding where they had the officiant come out of a casket. The groom was wearing black mesh and a black skirt--guess the bride pretty much was, too. All the guests fit the bill, as well. That would have been the PERFECT cake topper for them!

They have versions where the two skeletons are kissing too.

Suzy could you point me in the direction of your monogram supplier too? Or LJ do you still have the address? I'd like a wee look at what's available, and Deputy'sgurl thanks for that

ETA:Went for a wee look to see which of the ebay suppliers would ship to the UK and found these ones for just $18 for the set of three. We'd have to paint them ourselves but at that price even if we decided not to use them it wouldn't be much wasted!

The big letter is 7" and the little ones are 4". I went to see the other one but I fancy having the three initials if I go for a monogram...

He or she not sure was really nice! It did take a few weeks 4 me I received it but I under stand it took some time for him to cut them out. I ended up paying $26.00 for one letter! Here is the email I have letters@tampabay.rr.com

You could use silver leaf on it. I've seen it done on craft shows but I never tried it my self. Guess it'd depend on how intricate it was.

We're using 2 Hot Wheels cars: 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertibles (my dream car) in black and white. (They don't make green, the actual colour of my gown. Darn.)

I've been collecting Hot Wheels for years, and I keep them all in the boxes and stuff.

That sounds great Baconsmom, everyone's bound to get the reference too! I think it's a great idea having something really personal on it.

Sorry guys! I have been OOT at a George Strait concert!! So much fun!

Here is my topper on my cake. I don't have a pic of it by itself and its at moms so I can't take one. There are 2 little spokes that are about 3 inches long that go into the cake. It comes white but I sprayed mine red to match. He can cut them into any font for an additional $10 I was very happy with mine!
