Default Gifts for FG & RB

I've taken care of the BMs... We think we know what we're doing for our parents... FH is procrastinating on the GM gifts - but that's his problem (and I guess we DO have 4 months )...

But I'm somewhat at a loss as to what to get our FG & RB. They will be 2 and 4 (almost 5), respectively.

I was thinking of getting them each a tote with their initials, filled with toys & stuff... but I don't know what toys 5 y/o boys like... and I'm afraid they'd grow out of it all too quickly.

I was also thinking about getting the FG (my niece, Natalie) nice jewelry - as I still have the necklace I got when I was a FG in our older sister's wedding when I was 6, and treasure it... but I'm afraid she's still a little young for jewelry...

Anyone have suggestions? What did you get your FG & RB and how old were they?

My FG and RB were my kids.

For my daughter, I got her a couple of age-appropriate books about being a flower girl. One of them came with a stuffed animal. I also got her a toy, though I don't remember now what I got her. She was three years old when we got married.

For my son, I got him an age-appropriate book about being a ring bearer. I also got him some toys. He was five years old when we got married.

I got them both a car play set since they both ride int he car a lot. They attached to the back of the seat and they have a flat surface so the can draw and it has a cup holder. I put a note pad in there with special paper and markers that can only be used for that kind of paper. I'm not sure if my rb uses it but I know my fg still has it. Her mom got a new truck a few months back and she cried cause she thought she wouldn't have her table anymore. I also got my FG a bride barbie she loves it!

My FG and RB are both girls (Josh's neices that I love to death) so I am getting their hair and nails done with all the big girls (they will be 9 and 7 when I get married) and I am getting them little lockets with a picture of me and Josh and them together.

It has been a while since I have visited so I was trying to upload a picture of a fit we got for everyone in our wedding party right down to f/g, r/b m/c everyone, plus we got them all other things too but it helped to cover anyone we might have otherwise forgotten.
For our r/b we also gave them cute shirts and ball caps that looked like bear cubs, since that is what they called it "ring bear" They also walked down the eisle with teddy bears instead of pillow, they were adorable they got to keep the bears too.
Hope that is one more idea you can bat around.
In the mean time congratulations, nad I guess I should figure out how to PASH once again.

oops okay so the picture of the back of my shirt did show up. oops.
I bought inexpensive shirts and did an iron on of a celtic knot on all of them, I also did extra just incase like for my neice that I asked at the last minute almost to sit at the guset book table, and ushers it worked out well cause the shirts were all under $8.00 each and I bought the transfer paper at Micheals and then did the logo on the CP and Voila ironed away.
