I got mine done by Clinique. Primarily because I use their make up on a day to day basis and knew it would work well with my skin. Now as far as where you are at... I dont know if its the same deal as here in Texas, but Clinique will schedule you an appointment and do your makeup for you wedding. The only requirement is that you purchase 2 items from them, Any two items. Not even necessarily the ones they used on you that day. SIL actually waited to buy her base and powder that she uses on a daily basis, and therefore she really wasnt out anything that she wouldnt have spent anyways....
Just an idea from my experience. Hope it helps

I alternate between Lancome and Arbonne for skin-care and make-up. The regional artist for Lancome said she would come into town and do my wedding make-up for free.
The problem is having to go to the cosmetics counter to have it done. Is there a major department store where you can go and "try out" a wedding face? Then if you like it, ask if you can come back the morning of your wedding.
Is there a cosmetology program at a college near your town? Can you go there and have a student esthetician do your "try-out" (under an nstructor's supervision) and have her do you and your wedding party as her class project?

I would try and find a beauty school...or a new beauty shop that recently opened that may be looking for testers...see if they'll be willing to do it for free!

Go PRO!
Beauty schools students might do it free, but they probably lack the experience and you might end up like.... your mom did your make-up!
C'mon, its the most important day of your life! Surely you can save up some cash before hand to get it professionally done?
Ask around your area and compare price and experience! Most of these guys can bargain too, so haggle a bit!
