Default ~Mrs. Rowe~ *TONS OF PICS*

Hi all! Well I'm back. Everything went very well. One or two oops but thats it!

Let's see, Thursday was mainly tying up last minute things. Finishing pew bows, etc. Smooth and pretty relaxing actually. My mom, step father, grandma and grandpa came over for dinner Thursday night. That was a lot of fun

Here's a few pics:
Me & Mom

Me, Mom, Nana (grandma)

Four Generations!

Then Friday morning we got up early and loaded up the cars with the decorations, etc for the reception hall. Me, mom, Bruce (stepdad), FMIL, 2 FH's aunts, FSIL, and my grandparents helped decorate the hall and set up. Sorry, I forgot to get pics of the hall, but will add the professional pics once they are done

Things went OK Friday at the hall. There were a few bumps along the way, but everything was fixed.

-I forgot 2 baskets for favors, and coloring books at the house. FSIL & I went looking for some, but the town the reception hall is in has NOTHING!!! We finally found some at a home decor store. And the owner was amazing She actually let us BORROW the baskets as long as we promised to bring them back Monday or Tuesday!!

-When we got back to the hall from basket searching it was brought to my attention that the linen lady (who was almost finished setting up) had chair covers that did not fit the new chairs in the hall. So we had to get the hall to bring over different chairs from the warehouse, and then we helped the linen lady move the chair covers from one type of chair to the other.

About halfway through the chair cover ordeal, I packed up my things and went back home to get my nails done. FSIL joined me and we sat and relaxed while getting a mani and pedi. After a lil relaxation it was time to get back into gear. We had rehearsal at 6 o'clock at the church. So off we went to rehearsal...

Default Rehearsal Dinner

Rehearsal Dinner was held at Johnny Carino's. It was very nice. FMIL did a great job. There was one or two things that rubbed me a lil wrong, but I got over it quick. (FMIL's speech was a little rude) It was great to have everyone together to eat, laugh, and enjoy a little down time together before the big day...

Default Wedding Day!!

The big day started out at the salon with hair appointments starting @ 10 am. From there FSIL and I went to our makeup appointment @ 12:00 noon. Everything went well there, and then we all went to my house and got ready together. Even my sis came down from Dallas and came over and got ready. She never wears makeup and she let one of the BM put makeup on her! It was great, a little nervous at the time neared closer and closer, but it went well. The only goof we had during the ceremony, was when I was so nervous I tried putting the ring on the wrong finger I was so embarrassed! But everyone just laughed it off

Here's a few from the big day.

The reception was a blast! The band was awsome, best spent money on the whole darn thing!! The only thing is they surprised us with a kareokee (sp?) performance to our guests

We had to get up and even add a lil costume and then sing along with the song from O' Brother Where Are Thou! Well shoot why not just give ya some pics for a visual

And of course some miscellaneous reception pics my step dad took for me...

Um, I actually DID THIS in my wedding. I didn't notice until after I'd already put the ring on his finger. I was horrified!

I did put it on the wrong finger and Father Mark whispers, "Um, Rhiannon, Wrong hand" DH quickly embarrassed as crazy removes his right hand and hands me his left The whole congregation laughed and we moved on, but many people made it a point to mention it to me at the reception.

Also guilty! Lol - however, I did not realize it until I was TOLD on the way to the reception by DH that I had put it on the wrong hand. I didn't believe him until I saw the video, lol. Bad thing was that I was so not nervous at all - just blonde I guess.

ETA: I love the groom's cake.

Wow, what nice pictures! I also LOVE the one with your daughter holding your bouquet. The red dresses and the red roses in your bouquet are absolutely lovely, too.

HAHAHA, thats funny. Well I will paraphrase it for you and hit the high points. Basically she stood up and said, "Throughout the years the two of you have had this whole family and many friends on an emotional roller coaster....The key to this whole event... this whole thing would not be possible without... the one major person we all have to thank, the beautiful little red head we have all grown to love, my granddaughter Andrea....As we all know there are many people out there who dont give ya'll a snow balls chance in hell of making, but just do me one favor... Prove them wrong!"

It was a little worse than that, but she said the whole damn thing with her arms wrapped around DH and with a sincere smile on her face. Everyone at the rehearsal dinner just sat there staring at me waiting for my reaction. DH just sat there squeezing my hand, and whispering I love you. I did handle it very well I thought. I teared up a bit with anger and irritation at the end, but managed not to say a word or even let it look like it fazed me. I did have a nice speech lined up for the mothers, grandmothers, and bridal party, but after her speech I just decided not to say anything in fear that I might say something ugly back...

But yes it was definately her time to throw piss and vinegar on the wonderful, happy event.
