Wedding Details!!!! and some pics....
Hi girls..... I will start by saying that I'm back home and very happy...
Here are the details and some pics...
As most of you know, I left to Puerto Rico two weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was under control, well, most of the things were fine except for two things: the girls dresses and the transportation for the wedding day. The girls dresses were on layaway at a local store and when my mom went to pick up the dresses the store was closed!!!! Can you believe that!!!! The owner decided to close the store for good and didn't even contacted the people that had layaways on the store.... Anyway thanks to God we were able to get other dresses ordered priority mail and that part was solved. The transportation was solved on Thursday night, basically one day before the wedding.
Also the person that was going to do the toast after having his airfare and everything ready to go to PR, something came up and he had to cancel..... we had to talk with another of our friends to do it....
We had another issue and was that DH's parents were supposed to arrive to PR on Wednesday night, well they missed their connecting flight in Newark and that was the last flight to the local airport. The airline put them on a later flight to San Juan, the big airport, the one that is 2 hrs away from the house in Puerto Rico. Well on that night DH and I didn't sleep because we had to make an unplanned trip to San Juan and their flight didn't arrive until 4:15 am which we didn't know, and in top of that their luggage didn't arrive!!!! I ended up arriving at home at 8:30am on Thursday!!!!! Their luggage luckly arrived to the original airport on Thursday around 11:30pm but they didn't get it until Friday.
After all that, Saturday finally arrived and everything was just perfect!!!!! Well except that the photographer was going to arrived at 1:00 pm for pics and when I arrived home from the salon at 12:00 nobody was home, no mom, no dad, nobody!!!! and it was 12:55 and still nobody!!!!!! I managed not to get cranky buy I almost did.... My mom finaly got home at 1:00pm and at 1:05 the photographer arrived.... I was ready by then....
After that everything went great, the day was perfect!!!!! The ceremony was very nice and beautiful. The reception was so cool... we had lots of fun and we received lots of compliments.
The next day we left for our cruise, which was amazing but that's going to have to be another post!!!!!

Yeah! So glad to hear everything worked out in the end. Sorry to hear about the parents flight! that had to be awfully stressful... Looks like you handled everything very well!
