wave Surprise!!!!

Hello;

It's been a while since I've been on but I thought I'd bring everyone up to date. I got married on the 10th of December instead of the 30th!!!!
We got tired of everyone telling us how to do our wedding especially when we were eloping to start with. Because I spent November very sick we had to cancel the honeymoon (we'll go in March or April). We decided to do something small and just invite close family. We got what we expected - everyone telling us how we should and shouldn't do it. My Now Husband, said we're moving up the date and just telling them when and where to show up. It turned out lovely. We got married in a park at a pond at sunset. It was great! I did have a bridzilla moment - the hairdresser screwed up my hair and I had to come home and start over. I spent the afternoon crying that I would be ugly at my own wedding - my Honey told me he preferred how I did my hair anyway.
Our life has been wonderful - yeah - a little different from living together I suppose as once in a while we look at our fingers and see these rings. He always swore he'd never remarry - now he says he's very happy and with no regrets. I didn't think I'd feel different - I noticed I did after day 5 and I realized I was more settled and relaxed.
I always knew we were meant for each other and it definately shows. I was told after the wedding that my older brother from California was trying to get a flight to come but couldn't get out in time. My family waited a long time for me to marry - I was the family "Old Maid" though it was by choice I hadn't married before. It took someone special to get me to commit.
I wouldn't change a thing!
Happy New Year To All!
Thank You for the B-day card!
Love Booky

I don't know if this will work......
If you are seeing the picture - that is my new husband. We met by a weird chance over 4 years ago. He like's his long hair and wears it like that to defy his dad who made him get a military cut as a kid. You can't see his beautiful blue eye's (he's legally blind and photosensitive - light hurts him) but he has the kindest eyes. He normally wears a hat - he did put it on for other pictures. This is not our best photo but at the moment it's the best I have. Other's were taking pictures and haven't given us any yet. This was on our camera and most the pictures did not come out.
I had my hair done that day and it turned out terrible and I had to re-do it myself. Since it's long, stringy and fine I pulled it through a loop so you can't see it. Looked better then the salon did and He liked it better.
Have a great day!
