Question Supliments for hair, skin & nails
Have any of you ever taken Silica?

My hairdresser recommended it today when I was getting it cut. My Crohn's Disease has had a bit of a relapse and I lose a lot of hair when it's like that. My skin gets all flaky and my nails split too...

In the UK the health food shops aren't allowed (by law) to say what the supplements are supposed to do for you. This is what I ordered:Silica Complex Tablets My hairdresser said it's really good for promoting growth in your hair and nails. I've ordered some but just wanted to hear if anyone has tried it.

If I have any success I'll let you all know!

i take holland and barrett skin hair and nails
which you are ment to take 3 times a day i take once my hair was falling out in big patches before i started taking them and i was getting spots all the time
but have never heard of the one you have ordered

I never even thought of those... Hmm.. they do say you get lovely lush hair when you're pregnant!
