help me decide on flowergirl dresses!!!!
Ok, I think I've FINALLY decided on what flowergirl dresses I want (the sleeves are very similar to the way mine are on my wedding gown) but now for the life of me I can NOT decide on what color they should be! I'm posting pictures of 3 choices. The colors on the left are the colors of our wedding..regency purple is our main color with small accents of pink blush (the top left color) and then obviously on the right are the flowergirl dresses. I can't get the flowergirl dresses in the EXACT colors as we're using for the bridesmaid dresses. However, if we added a little lavender or lilac or pale pink to the bouquets to give it more of a blended palette -would these items work? I have two flowergirls and considered putting one in purple and the other in pink but then reconsidered it when I realized how drastic a difference it would look up against the 7 ladies in our main colors. Sooooo please please PLEASE send me your thoughts on what you think is the best way to go on these (I need to be placing an order soon!) [BR] [BR]

This is tough for me because I'm all about simple - these are very elaborate and seem very formal...
As for color, if you can't get an exact match, I think it may all clash a bit. What about doing the FGs in white with a purple trim?

Thank you very much for letting me know. Well, yes the point was 'very formal' because that's what we're going for ..as far as the wedding ceremony. I want a 'victorian' feel with a modern twist. Idealy not easy to accomplish but I'm making it work. I established early on that I did not want the flowergirls wearing white even if it was with another color added to it. It's weird probably to most and to what is considered the 'norm' or 'in style' way to go.

I would put the FGs in a color that complements & coordinates (but doesn't try to match) with the BMs. I'm thinking a lighter shade of the same color (possibly with trim that matches?). You might be able to get custom made dresses for about what it would cost to buy them pre-made & they would be exactly what you want instead of as close as you can get.

Thanks alot!! We actually decided to go with the same dress but that is in pale pink. We're not going to try to match exactly. But pale pink is the accent color. We changed on the shade because the pink blush was not available for all the items needed for the bridal party. My mom is also wearing pale pink..so I think the fact that the 7attendants on each side of us will be in purple but the accents will be pale pink will look very well blended with the flowergirl dresses. Thanks so much for the advice. You helped me figure out what I'm going to do!!!!! YaY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, ok, so we didn't actually end up going with the color of flowergirl dress I mentioned above. Although it's the same style I can't for the life of me decide on the right color.........again. I made a bio and so I'm going to attach it here so if anyone is interested in helping me with the color choice..I'd greatly appreciate it!!!!!!!

The link didn't work for me. Do you have to be a Knot member to see it?

I don't think you have to be a knot member. Let me paste it again and see if I might've done something wrong the first time.
