Wedding Song(s) HELP! PlEaSe - The PASH Wedding Forums and Message Boards

i am not exactly sure where i should have posted this....

BUT i need help finding songs for:

Bouquet Toss (the song for the Garter Toss will be the Mission Impossible theme)

also the song that we walk to the reception after the ceramony as Mr. & Mrs.

also, the song for my wedding party to walk too... (my bridal entrance song, is the instrumental to "bitter sweet symphony" by: the Verve) * i tell yall that so you kinda have an idea of the song selections. it is not traditional at all.

please share any and all ideas PLEEEEEASE!

The song that I had my girls walk down to was the instrumental of "man of constant sorrow" from Oh Brother where art thou. It doesn't sound anything like the song with the vocals. It's the last song on the CD. It is really beautiful and I think it worked really well. I walked down to Somewhere over the rainbow by Israel the big Hawaiian guy. I love that song and think it's appropriate for so many situations.

I guess I should ask, is this for live musicians or for recorded music?

I thought it was quite unique when the last wedding I went to had the bride and groom stand back to back and tossed then at the same time... It was fun because the guys and girls who were up there didn't see who was catching so it was a free for all!! and lots of fun.

We had "The Rain, The Park and Other Things" by The Cowsills (the lyrics are about meeting a girl with flowers)

You mean being introduced walking into the reception? We had the theme from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy ("All things just keep getting better...")

I don't know that song, so I don't know how much help I'll be... we went with Trumpets Voluntary (sp?)
