south’s favorite snack food, the MoonPie originated in 1917 in Chattanooga, TN. MoonPie is a graham-like cracker, marshmallow covered with chocolate, vanilla or banana flavors. It was often washed down with a RC cola. I don't like them my self but I still see people with a moonpie in one hand and a rc cola in the other...

Moonpies are now sold in a slightly smaller size and under different names, but they are the same thing. A graham cracker cookie with a marshmallow filling dipped in chocolate. Sooooo good. No wonder I have bad teeth.
