Hunter Green, Silver, and ....?
Hi ladies! I've been gone for awhile, but could use some suggestions.
I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in April (one month before mine) and the bride is having some issues figuring out a color for the bridesmaid dresses. She says the tables will be in hunter and silver but that she saw a picture of her venue with the girls in green and didn't like it. So green is out. She doesnt have flowers picked out yet, so that won't help. Also, she wants something that is spring-y (ie burgandy is too dark). She asked for suggestions....
My immediate thoughts were either champagne (not sure if that would look very good with silver) or a bright pink (but she hates pink). So I'm at a loss, she's at a loss, and we'd love your suggestions So suggest away!
Thanks!

It would help if you could post some pictures (or a link) to the venue.
That said, I love seeing silver used in weddings and would work with almost any color. For some reason, lavender/lilac with silver crossed my mind. White and silver would also look good.
Is the bride against all shades of green, or just hunter?

I suggested a lighter shade of green for our dresses, that was a no go too. Unfortunately, I don't have a link to the venue, but I'll ask.

What about a periwinkle. Or a purpleish blue. That is what I instantly thought of.

I was thinking of a very pale violet or something in a pale yellow...

I like the idea of periwinkle. The bride does too
I suggested yellow, as well. My colors are actually green and yellow....
Oh, and her wedding is at www.freedomhall.com.

I just went to the link... is the wedding outdoors? I see a lot of light pink in the garden (at least, that's what it looked like on my monitor), so if she won't do pink, white and silver would look good next to those flowers.

Thanks everyone for your helpful replies.
The bride loved the idea of periwinkle, and its an excellent option because it is widely available (I had a difficult time finding a light green I could stand). Now she's just got to find a dress or a few options and send us all out to try it/them on!
