I didn't want hubby to see me before, or anyone except for my girls and my Mom. That's about it!

Default I voted "no"

I spent the night before the wedding at my dad and step-mom's house, but that wasn't because I thought it was bad luck for him to see me. I did it because a) all of the reception stuff was at my dad's and I needed to help transport everything, b) my husband's bachelor party was the night before the wedding and I didn't want to be home alone with the kids, c) I wanted the "wow" factor of him not seeing me until I was walking down the aisle, and d) I knew that my step-mom would pamper me on the morning of the wedding by making me coffee and getting me some breakfast.

We are doing pre wedding Pictures. So we will see each other b-4 I walk down. The first time he see me he will walk in to a room where me and my photographer is. We will have a few min alone and then go have pictures taken. We are also not keep the top of the cake. The baker will make us one that looks like it for are 1st anv. SO I'm not let superstition get to me...

The only thing I did really was not let him see the dress beforehand... and that was so I could get the "WOW" factor. We stayed together the night before and everything. When I got up to go to myhair appt, I gave him a kiss and said "See you at the altar." Awww... aren't I sweet? I'd like to take it all back and shove it up his ass now!

Same here, except we did the "see eachother for the first time" outside. It was really cute becuase some of our friends were watching from the window and the photog. got photos of their reactions as well.

I don't believe them, but it is fun to take part in some of the tradition.

I don't want Mo to see me till I'm walking up the isle but that's not superstition, I just want to blow him away I'm staying at the hotel on my own the night before the wedding coz my mum's house will be manic and I couldn't handle being around that, and I don't want the 'getting ready' pictures taken in my flat. I also live above some shops and the stairs tend to be grubby so I'd not want to get my dress dirty that early...

I ticked NO, I'm not superstitious normally, I just don't believe it.

Well, we honored some, but I really don't believe that if we didn't follow them it would jeopardize us in any way. LOL, we drove thru McDonalds for some quarter pounders with cheese for lunch the day of our wedding (how romantic)!!! His sister, my MOH, got mad at us! But he didn't see the dress, and I had something old, new, borrowed, and blue.

Is there some McDonald's superstition or is it a general drive-thru ban?

J/k I guess her problem was that you went there together and were not sequestered away for the entire day preceding the ceremony?

Yeah, I had just left the church where his mom and cousin were decorating, and I called him and he was on his way to McDonalds for lunch and I was hungry too, so he came and picked me up. His sister called while we were at the drive thru and asked where I was, when I told her she went off on me saying, "I can't believe ya'll!!! He's not supposed to see you until the wedding!! Ya'll suck!!!" It was too funny! She was like, well, did you have to go through the drive thru? I mean, it's your wedding day.. couldn't you have at least gone in and sat down?! LOL

We're doing our wedding photos the day before where he'll see my dress for the first time but I'm going into hiding on the wedding day until I walk down the aisle. I'm also having "something old/new/borrowed/blue". Heard this one testified true before but if it's raining on your wedding day, hang a rosary outside and it'll be sunny when you say "I do". We're having an outdoor wedding and I got the beads ready
