Default Question

So you ladies helped me decide to go with black bridesmaid dresses to match my white dress w/ black embroidery. We're all carrying Callas.

I want to decorate an arch with some silk Hydrangea garlands and swags, but I loveeee this two tone lavender/blue color. I was also thinking of buying something to match to decorate the top layer of of our cake and topping the other layers (cupcakes) with the same color hydrangeas as well.

I'm also planning to use cloth napkins, but I don't know if I want to go with a lighter blue to match the cake/arch , or if I want to go with a darker navy blue.

Am I breaking the rule here with trying to incorporate 4 colors or are navy napkins not going to make a noticeable difference (ie I'm being silly and paranoid)?

I love the lavendar/blue color of the hydrangeas, and I definitely think that color napkins would be great.

Personally, I don't know that I like the mixture of all those colors and navy blue, and I also don't know if the navy blue napkins would provide as much "pop" or contrast as the other color would.

And your link to the navy blue napkins didn't work.

But it is your wedding and in the end, you should pick the colors that YOU really like!! Let us know what you decide.

I think incorporating various shades of blue into your decor would compliment the black/white color scheme nicely!

I think if the light blue napkins don't match the hydrangeas exactly, it would be better to go with the dark blue...
