Materials:
Aisle runner (pre-made)
Fabric paint
Monogram created in Photoshop
Printer to print out poster-sized monogram
Brushes
Pencil
Paper towels
Lots of patience and time!

Instructions:

The first thing I did was create a monogram on the computer using
Photoshop. I've done several since this one, but this was the one my
fiancé and I agreed we originally wanted to use for our runner. The
next thing I had to do was blow the monogram up to 3 pages by 3 pages
using my printer settings.

Next, I taped the 9 pages together and then taped them to my dining room
table. Then I took the cloth and laid it over the taped-down monogram
and began to trace the outline with a pencil. Once the outline was
done, I laid paper towels under the fabric so as not to leak paint onto
my table. Finally, I began to fill in the outline with the fabric paint
using different sized brushes.

It took about six or so hours to complete this, but I love it and can't
wait to use it on my wedding day! Originally it was going to be our
aisle runner, but I've decided to cut it down and use it as a table
runner for the head table. I'm going to create another aisle runner
made from muslin fabric for our aisle. I loved doing this so much, I'm
now doing them along with table runners and banners for other brides. I
never knew I'd wind up doing something like this!

do you know how to change your printer settings?? to print one image on several sheets?? That's where it would be done...print set up....Or, you can take your image to a kinkos and they will blow it up and print it for you.

Default How to print...

I'm so sorry I didn't catch this to give a response. I finally got married last month and haven't been around as much...not that I ever really wrote too much before, just read a lot.

Anyway, the way you blow the image up is by going into your printer's properties section when you go to print. You should have the option to print poster-sized. I do the 38" wide runners at 3 pages by 3 pages.

Another option is to just take it to Kinkos or Staples and have them blow it up for you.

If ever anyone has questions, please email me at cherin@customizedweddingcreations.com. Thanks!
