Egypt was amazing!
Beyond words. I really don't even know what to say! 
We started in Sharm al-Sheikh, a beach resort town on the Red Sea. Then we went on tour to Cairo, Luxor and down to Aswan on a cruise. We ended back at the beach, which was a perfect chance to relax after seeing so many things!
Best things:
lots of relaxation
swimming with tropical fish in the Red Sea
learning tons of stuff about ancient Egypt
seeing places that were built over 4,500 years ago
our cruise
fantastic sunsets over the Nile
everything else except...
Not so best things:
mosquitos
food wasn't so great - lots of chicken and rice - everyday
traffic in Cairo - I thought I was gonna die several times
I thought several times about my first trip to Europe and how excited I was to see real castles. And how after seeing 10 castles, however cool - they all start to look the same. Same with Egyptian temples. There are tons of them and as amazing as they are, you get a little overwhelmed with temples!!

I wish i knew you were going! I would've given you tips on what to eat.
I've been wanting to go to sharm, hopefully when i go back to egypt next year, ill have a chance to.

Shaks, actually we had half and full board for most of the trip, so it was buffet, buffet, buffet. Which is actually really cool at first, but after 12 days...

Those are amazing! I really would love to visit that part of the world. The ruins of Egypt and Rome really amaze me. I'm so jealous but thanks for sharing your photos!

Nice pics!
I could use a hookah puff right now! I brought back 2 when i was there. I didnt get a chance to go down to Luxor. Hopefully next time.

Aw, don't be jealous... just go!!! It's not expensive at all once you get there! 
And Shaks, you def need to see Luxor next time you go. I wish we would have had more time there. You and I should go together next time and check it out!
