Question Coral for beach wedding....

Well, I'm considering changing our wedding colors.... Previously we'd been set on shades of jade and sea blue (as it's a beach wedding).

However, in one of my new bridal mags this month, I ran across a feature on a wedding done on the beach, and their colors were coral (as in not quite pink, not quite orange) and sand... and it was STUNNING... very warm and romantic.

Does anyone have pics of weddings done with these colors, and more importantly, any ideas for flowers? Previously I was thinking of pure white flowers with touches of green (jade roses) for my flowers, then bright, tropical flowers for the reception/decor...

I might have some pictures, I'll look when I get home. I think it sounds absolutely beautiful though.

I think what you have described for flowers sounds good. Again, I'll look for some pictures when I get home.

The bridesmaids dresses were coral for my brothers wedding and the MOH (me) was champagne with a mocha sash

Heres a few pictures.

I love coral... and you can get roses in that color (I see them at flower stands all over this city).

Oh now that's true... I do love coral roses (even moreso than pink or red, actually!)..... they're very warm in feeling to me (if that makes sense)

Late, but also agreed!! I think coral would be gorgeous. And I know exactly what you mean by a "warm" color...I think of it that way too.

Here's some ideas someone on another site gave me, and I'm really liking it because it combines the blue we wanted with a shade of coral... it just feels very "fresh" to me.

I was totally going to do the color combo of blue/coral! Then I changed my mind for the umpteenth time. Do it! It's so unexpected and gorgeous!

I love that blue/coral combination. I would never have thought to combine those colors, but they look great together.
