Silly Chair Question
It started as a small joke... when DH and I first saw out reception place, we noticed that the chairs looked nice - we didn't pay attention to what style they were. Over time, we started seeing "our chairs" everywhere. If a movie or TV show features a wedding for any fancy dinner, we can pretty much count on seeing them - and don't get me started on Wedding Crashers!
So, here's a picture of the chair... I'm just curious as to how many of you had your ceremony and/or reception with this style of chair. Any color counts, but if you want to go for bonus points, ours were gold with dark blue cushions.
I don't know if there's an official name, but one site calls it "Chiavari Banquet."

I am starting to see those everywhere as well. Our place had regular banquet chairs that we rented covers for, but the rental place had the chairs pictured available for rental. I like those much better than the typical covered banquet chairs, but it wasn't in the budget! I have also seen them called Applewood chairs.

Nope, mine aren't that nice but there isn't a penny spare in the budget to change them, noone'll see them after they're sitting on them anyway!
I'm sure I saw them for hire in a wedding magazine tho...

Those aren't my chairs...we had the option to rent them but they were too expensive. I have seen them everywhere though.
