I didn't know people played a song while they cut the cake. Any ideas for a song?

Ugh - Ours was "Just between you and me" and I forget who it's by. Some little known 80's band. It was SO cheesy, but since it's the only thing DH asked to have I compromised on it. However, I still cringe when I watch the tape, lol.

See that's what I like about this forum... I get to learn so many things that are done here that in Puerto Rico are not. I never heard of the "cake song", very interesting!!!

Ours was supposed to be Sweet Caroline, but the DJ forgot. I didn't even notice, and he was so apologetic! He played it later in the evening. I don't think he ended up playing anything. You don't absolutely have to--I hadn't realized anyone did until I was filling out the request form for the DJ and it had a space for it.

Ya, i don't think it's so important - I had to look back at my song list to even remember what we used! (it was only 6 months ago!) We used Sugar Sugar and also I Got You by James Brown.
