I am dying. Seriously. I have coughed non-stop for five days now. Finally went to the doctor today, and I have bronchitis. Fun.

He gave me some cough syrup with codiene (sp?) in it, and I took some when I got home, but it doesn't seem to have done much. I just love coughing so hard it stops whatever I'm doing and making my chest hurt.

Ask Margie, she heard what I sound like. Lol.
But, on the plus side, I've not run a fever, and other than the coughing, have no other sympotms or complaints. Which is good. I just wish the coughing would ease up. Maybe it will by tomorrow after I take a good dose of cough syrup before bed.

And why can't they make the adult cough stuff taste halfway decent like kids' medicine? Have you tried the green Nyquil.....ugh.

Ok, I'll stop my whining now.

Oh - they weighed me at the office....a whopping 160. Yeah.

Feel better soon! I HATE having a cough probably more than anything else. It hurts to cough but it hurts not to cough. Ugh. Hopefully the medicine will help!

Ugh I hope you feel better. Take that medicine though! I don't think it's to relieve you right now, but to break up the congestion in your chest. Don't get pneumonia on us girl!

MTGH, if I only take half a dose of the cough syrup it doesn't knock me out. I did take a full dose before bedtime though, slept nicely.

However, the anitbiotic he gave me is too strong I think, because I was sicker than a dog this morning. I was all nauseated and shaky and lightheaded. But, I'm going to take some here in a bit since I just ate and see if that makes any difference. If it doesn't, then I'll split up the two pills and take them 12 hours apart. Other than that, I'm still coughing like crazy, but feel better rested since I can sleep all night.
