Got the kids' stuff AGAIN...
Some of you may remember that a few months ago I tried ordering outfits and necklaces for a family medallion ceremony (but NOT the ugly medallions) for my kids. It turned out the web site was out of business but somehow still accepted my order! Any-hoo, I FINALLY found matching outfits for the destination wedding and necklaces--and I like all better than the first ones I ordered anyway.
These necklaces I like because they symbolically can represent the three: the child and parent and new step-parent.
Scroll down to the last pendant on the page, the triple jumping dolphins for my son:

And for my daughter:

Dress for my daughter:

Shirt for my son:

AND all of these things were on sale, too! I got everything plus shipping for 100--less than half price!! Now let's hope everything will be DELIVERED this time!

I love those Jen! The shirt & dress aren't too gareish(sp?!) but fit with the theme perfectly and I wouldn't mind one of those flower pendants myself Will you get the silver dolphin one? Do the kids know what they're getting or are they a surprise?
Did you ever decide about the paper plates/napkins/flowers/theme for the reception?

I think those are great! I love the outfits. They are definitely tropical but not too bright. Hopefully they will arrive in the mail soon!

Very pretty MTGH! I love the outfits for the kids, they're going to look so cute. That color green will go nicely with the light blues and greens I suggested for the dinnerware. hee hee

Yeah, I didn't really like the first outfits I got because I thought they were too bright--but the kids REALLY liked them, and they matched. I like these better because it's tropical, but muted.
The kids picked out (well, approved) the outfits and the necklaces. Wanted to make sure they would be things they would actually wear. And, yes, got the silver dolphin one. And, Claire, yeah, that jewelry is REALLY cheap! I hope it looks nice--considering the price.
As for the reception, I realize I can't BUY anything yet because I'll have no place to put it until after the construction. Everything upstairs will have to be put in the basement and the living areas downstairs. But, yes, the shirts DO coordinate with the colors Heather suggested! So I'll probably lean that way.

Excellent choices, Jen! And the kiddos approve, which is totally important.
