Default Hi, need help for my wedding prep'n

I'm in the preliminary phase of planning for my wedding (Aug 2008)..Could you please advise the best wedding color for this month? I would like to have two colors, one would be purple..can you help suggest what other color can go with purple?

Are you talking about a dark purple or more of a lilac?

You can have any colors you like, but August is still technically summer I guess, so I would probably keep it to something light. I love lilac and light green (can't think of the proper color name)... seafoam maybe? Or if you're doing a dark purple, I would keep the other color light - like white.

Love purple! It kinda depends on the shade of purple you want. I think a plum color would be pretty with sage green or even a lime green. Or purple with silver. Lavender with brown is actually reeeeally pretty.

Try going to Home Depot or any store with paint swatches and compare. Mix and match. Another thing that is fun is looking at patterned scrapbook paper to find color combos there.

Whether you're going for a light of dark purple, I'd tend to go with a green from the other end (dark green w/ lilac, for example - think like a lilac bush).

What about dark purple and orange? Or lilac? Cream color? Gold? Purple is a very good color!
