We’ve been married for over 4 months now, and I can’t believe how fast the time has flown.  That is over 1/3 of a year!!  We’ve made it through moving, holidays, an adoption of another cat, a severe windstorm that damaged our house, and my first extremely stressful quarter of teaching. 

As the end of this year approaches, I am so thankful to be experiencing life with a partner who is supportive, hardworking, honest, respectful, and has a sense of humor that has gotten me through many hard days.  I can’t find the words to explain it, but I feel as though our relationship has grown better and we have grown closer each day of our marriage; an event I’m not sure we would have experienced without being married. 

I’m excited about this holiday season and the challenge of creating “our” traditions.  I love that we have a family now….just the two of us, creating traditions and a life together.  I love being married….not because of marriage itself, but because of the amazing man I have chosen to join and experience my life with.
