As the Maid or Matron of Honor, you have an extra-special place in the bride’s heart. In addition to all of the responsibilities the bridesmaids hold, here are the additional tasks that fall to you.
Congratulations! You’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid, and you know that with this tremendous honor comes a long list of To-Do’s that you might not be too sure about right now. The bride is in a state of euphoria over her engagement, so she might not be ready to send you a list of what she expects you to do. Until that list arrives, here are the traditional duties of the bridesmaid that will likely be expected of you.
Congratulations! You’ve been asked to be a Best Man, which is one of the greatest honors a man can receive from his brother, best friend, or cousin. You’ll stand next to him during the wedding ceremony, and you have a few extra duties to fulfill until that point. The following list outlines your duties and responsibilities as the groom's "right-hand man."
Being organized is going to save you: 1). Time, 2). Aggravation, and 3). Money. It’s also going to make working with others, like your bridal party and parents, a lot easier when you know exactly where you put that packet on the morning-after breakfast catering or the size cards the groomsmen sent in. When you organize yourself, it’s a 1-2-3-voila! situation, and you feel confident and secure in being able to handle all the steps of the wedding planning process.
So, your wedding plans are in the works and now it’s time to book the honeymoon. Do you go online in hopes of saving a few dollars, or hand the task over to a skilled travel agent? Maybe it would be cheaper in the long run to hire someone who’s in the know. A good agent could personalize your itinerary and possibly meet every one of your romantic whims. Having them take on this task would certainly alleviate the stress level and reduce your check list. And what other benefits might there be, by going this route?
